Xfinity unlimited data plan temporarily unavailable

I have my own modem and I've been trying to add the unlimited data plan ($30) but it just errors out and says "Temporarily Unavailable". I've seen other threads with the same issue. Has anybody been able to add this to their account?

Your issue has been escalated to the Comcast Corporate Team available to the Forums.  A member of that team will reply to your post as quickly as they are able, so check back often.
