Xfinity TV Box Replacement

My tv boxes are both broken. I keep trying to troubleshoot through the chat feature on the app and even have issues to the point the live agent sent me a new HDMI cable to see if that fixed the problem. It hasn’t, and I would like two new boxes for my TVs since I’ve had interrupted TV service for almost two weeks now. Thank you for your help.

Hello, @user_shw4fi thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums. You've contacted the right place for assistance with getting new set-top boxes, I appreciate the update that the cables had already been attempted to get replaced but wasn't able to resolve the issue. I'll need to gather some information that we don't want in our public conversation. Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address?

To send a direct message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Direct Message chat" icon

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window, please add your full name and address

• Press Enter to send it

If you're not currently using it, the Xfinity Stream App is a great option to view TV content while awaiting your equipment to get replaced.  Here's a helpful article that has all the compatible device the App can get downloaded to.
