Xfinity Trespassing

My new neighbor is signed up for Xfinity and the technician came out and ran a wire across the center of my backyard (08/25/2026) and it is lying on the ground.

I called the city and they confirmed that I do not have a utility easement in my yard and that I am within my rights to tell them no.

They have repeatedly chosen to illegally trench across 200 feet, through my entire backyard and use the utility box. There is no utility easement. The reason they have chosen to do this is because the designated utility box that this house is supposed to go to is broken. They refuse to fix the broken utility box and instead they prefer to illegally dig in my yard.

An Xfinity rep came out the next day (08/26/2026) and assured me that they would not dig in my yard, but the temporary line needed to be there for now.

They then came back out today (09/10/2026) to bury it to which i told them they could not. They proceeded to ignore me and kept digging and trespassing in my yard. I spoke to their supervisor and he did not care. They did not listen to me when I told them to stop.

I spoke to an Xfinity representative on the phone on 08/25/2026 and the Xfinity Ticket number was opened on that day.

Today on 09/10/2026 I called again and spoke with another Xfinity representative and another Xfinity ticket number was opened today. The representative also informed me that there was no previous case number opened for my issue.

I have informed the representative today that I will call the cops and trespass any Xfinity member that is digging on my property. The representative told me to “go ahead and do that”.

Additionally, they were not able to connect me to a supervisor or assure me that the trespassing would stop.

I cannot seem to get in contact with anyone helpful or able to resolve this situation. I will never recommend Xfinity to anyone. This service is awful.

Xfinity refuses to show me their permit that allows them to dig in my yard.
