Xfinity tore up my lawn and broke sprinkler pipe

I am no longer an xfinity customer. Xfinity came to my neighborhood to lay cable, and did significant damage to my lawn and cut my sprinkler pipe. I messaged the crew manager last Fall and he said he'd send someone out, but did not. It's still a disaster. I would like it fixed asap, since I need to use my sprinkler system.

Thank you for reaching out to us here @ladean5. You have reached the right team to get that resolved for you. Could you send us a direct message with your full name and the complete address for where that damage was done?

To send a direct message [private message]:

Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it

And after doing that...?

Then what?

What's the service level agreement for customers waiting?

Seriously, a day, a week, a year?

Just love how Xfinity is so good at sounding proactive.

But all you really get is more run around.

Go here, do this, do that... But no real help. Just deflection.

Had the same issue. Some advice, keep an eye on the work. The repair duo they sent was the same pair who shredded my sprinkler line. I saw them leaving. Nothing to indicate they had arrived or started the repair. They got outta there quick. So I checked the sprinklers and the lawn turned into a geyser! Dug up where the "fix" happened. Duct tape and rocks. No joke. Ended up replacing about 4 feet of pvc pipe. They had broken another portion. Just did it myself. Got it done quicker than navigating the Xfinity front-end gauntlet.

Yeah!  My neighbor called to have some dangerous cables reburied, and the tech dug up MY YARD trying to do an installation.  What???  Comcast is a joke!
