Xfinity Tech Cut My Cable when connecting a neighbor, NOW I can't get reconnected!! And Xfinity will NOT HELP!!!

I have been a loyal customer of Comcast/Xfinity for 10 years.   When my new neighbor got cable installed on the 17th, the technician cut my cable for whatever reason.  I called immediately, but they said they could not get my cable reinstated until the 29th!   Now I have been without cable for a week and cannot get cable for another week.  I work from home and go to school online, this has affected my livelihood and my grades. And Xfinity needs to make it right!

This is the problem with globalization, there is no way to connect with the local workers.   The technician who cut my cable, I'm sure lives locally and should be made to work overtime to fix the problem that he created!

I've tried that.  I chat with them every single day.  I get on the waitlist every single day.  And then the waitlist appointment gets canceled every single day.   I don't understand why Xfinity cannot reach out to the technician and their immediate manager to get this issue resolved.   It was the Xfinity technician who cut my cable without checking to see if a paying customer was connected. And it should be the same Xfinity technician and or their immediate manager who comes out and fixes the problem.  They should work overtime if needed.

Reaching out to us here is a little different from going through the Xfinity Assistant chat processes.  While we cannot guarantee we can make our techs work overtime to get the job done, we will do all we can to ensure this gets resolved quickly and efficiently.  We look forward to hearing from you via our 1-1 chat.

Nothing personal because I know it’s not your fault.  But when you say “we will get it resolved as quickly as possible” is simply not true.

The “waitlist” process you have in place is completely useless.  I have been canceled from the waitlist every single day for a week!   This is not acceptable.  I am so disappointed with Xfinity.  After being a customer for so long I am ready to cancel everything with Xfinity and go with Frontier.

is Xfinity going to reimburse me for my failure grade because I cannot do my schoolwork?   Or will Xfinity find me a new job after I get terminated?  I don’t think so.   You’ll just go on saying “we’re sorry for the inconvenience” then move on with no solutions.  I can’t even talk to a real person.  This is absolutely ridiculous.

I completely understand as most of us here also depend on our home internet for our livelihood. Have you attempted our complimentary Xfinity hot spots in your area? While in no way will I pass this as a solution it has saved me when a car crashed into a pole down my street, I was able to still connect and ensure my children had their school work submitted. Here is a link with more details https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/about-xfinity-wifi-internet. Please do not hesitate to reach us via private chat if you change your mind as I would love to ensure we have reviewed all options on our end.

Isn’t there a local manager I can talk to?

I just chatted with Xfinity again, and this person told me that I keep getting bumped because the modem is working.    That is total [Edit: Language]!  I think that the Xfinity system is flawed.

if I worked as inefficiently as Xfinity, I’d get fired from my job. Oh, wait because of Xfinity’s mistake, it looks like I’m getting fired anyway.   Thanks for ruining my life Xfinity!

This is completely ridiculous
