XFinity support

I guess I was chat for the bot yesterday when I need to hook up my new modem and they made it sound that with the new modem I need to get a new service I didn't want anything to do with that they reassured me it was only $20 a month difference I still was happy what I had when I seen with the uprated version of the new Wi-Fi service was it was $60 a month more and I can't contact the live person to save my life there you just argue back and forth with the chat bot that won't do anything

Hello @user_uap8p6, thank you for taking the time to leave a post. Sorry to hear about your experience trying to activate your new modem. I can certainly understand how frustrating that must be, especially when you were simply trying to get new equipment set up and ended up feeling like changes were made that you didn't want or expect. We never want you to feel pressured into changing your services, and I understand your concern after seeing pricing that appeared to be much higher than what was originally discussed. We'd be happy to take a closer look at your account, review any recent changes or orders, and confirm exactly what services and pricing are currently associated with your account. If any changes were made during the modem activation process, we can review those with you and discuss the options available.  For your privacy and the security of your account, if you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, we'd be more than happy to look into this for you.

How to send us a direct message:

  1. Click "Sign In" if necessary.
  2. Click the "Direct Messaging" icon.
  3. Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon.
  4. In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support."
  5. As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
  6. An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
  7. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
  8. Press Enter to send it.
