Xfinity Support

I need assistance canceling my Xfinity Internet service and need to handle it online/non-phone, because I have moved to another country.

Could an official Xfinity Support representative please help me through direct message? I can verify account details privately as needed.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Good Morning, @user_h1ns5n! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to us here on the Xfinity Forums! I completely understand the need to cancel the services with moving out of the country, and I would be happy to help with the request. I would like to pull up the account specific details to process the request. Can you please send us a DM to get started?

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forum's page.

Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:

  1. Click "Sign In" if necessary.
  2. Click the "Direct Messaging" icon.
  3. Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon.
  4. In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support".
  5. As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
  6. An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
  7. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
  8. Press Enter to send it.

Greetings,

I am leaving Georgia, and I want to cancel my Xfinity subscription at the end of the current billing period. I have removed all autopay and billing information already, and I possess no Xfinity equipment (personal cable modem).

Please confirm there will be no further attempt to bill me for another month.

Best regards,

[Removed: Private information]

user_hlwacr Thank you so much for stopping in for help with disconnecting your services. We always have to see a customer go, but are able to help with disconnect requests. We will need a bit more information before we can confirm anything. Send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account. I'd be more than happy to look into this for you. Click "Sign In" (If necessary). Click the "Direct Messaging" Icon. Click the "Start New Conversation" (pencil and paper) icon. In the “To:” line, type "Xfinity Support". As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list. An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window. Press Enter to send it. How to: Direct Message Within The Forum.
