Hi. I canceled my subscription about 3 weeks ago, but I keep getting reminders about payments. Can you please check that my account was indeed cancelled?

user_9zwihn Thank you for reaching out to my team so we can make sure the cancellation order was processed successfully. You can view Frequently Asked Questions about what to expect when cancelling service here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/important-information-when-canceling-services.
Please send a direct message to Xfinity Support by clicking the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page, click on the pen and paper icon, then enter “Xfinity Support” in the “To” section. Include your name and address in the body of the message so I can find your account and help.

Hi again. I am sorry, I can't see that icon you say. Now, I wanted to tell you that I was able to chat with a person that day, and he/she told me that the matter had not been handled properly the first time and now he/she had done it correctly. So, my service was officially canceled now.
Well, today I get another email with my bill which by now is higher (for a service I canceled about a month ago), and when I try to talk to someone they send me this link and tell me they can't cancel my service on the chat. I don't get it. I was told on the same chat that my service had been canceled. And I remember him/her saying specifically that I didn't need to go to that link because my service had already been canceled. This whole situation is very frustrating.

We'll have to take a deeper look at your account so we can set the right expectations.

Go ahead and send me a direct message including your first and last name and complete service address.

Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon

Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon

In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support"

As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.

Press Enter to send it.
