to connect smart bulbs like LIFX, which require a 2.4 GHz WiFi band, you may need to temporarily disable the 5 GHz band on your router. Follow these steps:
Open a browser on a device connected to your gateway and go to http://10.0.0.1.
Log in to the Admin Tool.
Select Connection, then Wi-Fi.
Click Edit next to 5 GHz.
Select Disable and save settings.
Connect your smart bulb using its app, then re-enable the 5 GHz band.
