Xfinity Support

I swapped out modems, and after activating my new Xfinity modem, I no longer hear a dial tone on my landline phone.

Hello @user_f0j50c, Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your day to leave a post on our community forum and we would be happy to help. What troubleshooting have you already done? Have you reset the modem? Used the Xfinity App to send signals?

Thank you.  The issue is resolved and I now have a working landline again.

I reached out on the Xfinity chat, and at first it kept sending me in these info loops that all dead ended at the same place.

But then I changed my query to something much broader and eventually the chat gave me the option to chat with a live agent.

And the agent - Sagar - made it happen.

Also, Sagar asked me to leave feedback after the  chat and I never had the option ... ?  I told him I would.

@user_f0j50c Thank you for that update! I am glad the issue is resolved. Getting surveys at the end of any interaction with customer representatives is random therefore you may not have received one, or you may still receive an email regarding any feedback you would like to provide. I would also be happy to take your feedback and pass it along to our leadership team. Please send us a message so that we can complete this.
