Xfinity Support

The Xfinity Assistant will not connect me to an actual person/agent no matter how hard I try, there doesn't seem to be an actual way to prompt it to connect with a human. Been sitting on the phone with the 800-Xfinity line for over 30min marveling at the fact that a company so large can continue to have such a poor customer service track record. Do you employ a customer service team? Is it just a knockoff of ChatGPT? What would you say you actually do here Xfinity Support?

How do I speak to a customer rep without waiting on hold for over 30+ minutes? Is there a chat with a person option? Is there a direct line I can call? How do I talk to a person that's not in a public forum?

@user_7frv5g The main 1-800-934-6489 is our primary over the phone support number. But hold times will vary depending on the day, department, and call volume. You can chat online with our Xfinity Assistant at Xfinity.com/support

Otherwise here on Xfinity Forums if it is an issue we can assist with then we would invite you to direct message us and take the conversation off the public part of the forum.

I'd like to discuss my plan with a human in direct message off the public forum.

You will need to either call or chat with the options above.

If you'd like to work with us privately instead you can send us a direct message with your full name and the service address.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
