I had the cable to my house buried in LATE AUGUST. They had to dig a hole through my sidewalk next to the house in order to bring the cable up from underground to the box on the side of the house. I had signed a 'cut and patch ROE-Right of Entry' form granting them permission to do that, which included a clause stating 'Comcast agrees to repair and/or replace any damage to owner's property resulting from installation, operation and removal.' That form was sent via text to a support person at 612-919-8320 on 8-29-24. The cable was buried sometime around the first week of September.
Since EARLY SEPTEMBER, I have used the chat feature and phone conversations with various people at Comcast to get someone to the house to patch the 12"x12"x6" hole in my sidewalk - with NO RESOLUTION! Several people have come out and taken pictures of the damage and told me they would send it to the appropriate people. I have talked by phone with people on:
9-12;
9-17 (and given ticket [Edited: "Personal Information"]
10-4 (and told people will be out in a week);
10-28 ( given ticket [Edited: "Personal Information"] and told it would be done in 4-7 days);
11-7 (told there is nothing in my records about a tech visit scheduled, so support person scheduled one for 11-9);
on 11-9 a support tech showed up but said that wasn't his department and he wasn't equipped to do the repair, but sent pics to his supervisor;
11-9 I talked with Christien, an account supervisor, and given ticket [Edited: "Personal Information"] and told he would set a ticket to notify the 'ground level dispatch team', who would assign a team to do the work;
11-12 I got a call from Andy at 'construction' (phone 612-290-2214) who said he would pass the info to the 'bury team' for follow-up;
11-18 I called Andy and left a voice mail message that I had heard nothing.
11-18 Jason (612-834-6806) called me saying he'd gotten notice to follow-up with me. He set an appt for 11-19 to stop out and take a look. I didn't see anyone come out that day.
12-4 I called Jason, who told me he had sent the info to the 'cut and patch department' and was waiting to hear back from them. I texted him my name, address and phone for his records (because he was out in the field) and he said he'd get right back to me.
It is now end of day on 12-5, and I've heard nothing back.....
If it helps, the Cut and Patch ROE form was left on my door with a sticker from TAK Communications Inc; [Edited: "Personal Information"]. The person that left the note was John at 605-799-6062
Can someone PLEASE take this repair task under their direction to get it done. The hole is right next to my foundation, and I'm concerned about melting snow accumulating and getting into the foundation/basement.
Thank you.
