Xfinity Support Put My Account and Identity at Risk
Xfinity turned a basic request — adding my existing Xfinity Mobile lines to the app — into a total disaster.
I was bounced between 8+ different agents, each giving me useless scripted answers and repeating the same questions over and over.
One agent even had me approve what looked like new line activations just to make my existing lines appear. Completely shady.
After that, my phone went to SOS only and — even worse — Xfinity changed my phone number without my consent.
This isn’t just incompetence — it’s a serious security risk. My number is tied to banking, email, and two-factor authentication. Losing control of it could have exposed me to fraud.
After hours of wasted time, all I got was a pathetic $1 credit while my service was still broken.
Xfinity’s reckless handling of customer accounts is unacceptable. I want my correct number restored, a real explanation of how this happened, and accountability for why I was passed around 8 times with no resolution.
Anything less is negligence.

All I am asking for is a new e-sim that reflects my correct phone number. I am on the 10th agent now and none has been able to fix the issue.

All the agents kept saying "contact us at this number" or "give us a number to callback", how does one do any of these if their phone cannot receive or make call ? What kind of support is it ?

Basically, it looks like Xfinity support ported my own number our and installed a different phone number on my account. I just want my old phone number back, please Xfinity, please do something about it.
