Xfinity Support Put My Account and Identity at Risk

Xfinity turned a basic request — adding my existing Xfinity Mobile lines to the app — into a total disaster.

  • I was bounced between 8+ different agents, each giving me useless scripted answers and repeating the same questions over and over.

  • One agent even had me approve what looked like new line activations just to make my existing lines appear. Completely shady.

  • After that, my phone went to SOS only and — even worse — Xfinity changed my phone number without my consent.

This isn’t just incompetence — it’s a serious security risk. My number is tied to banking, email, and two-factor authentication. Losing control of it could have exposed me to fraud.

After hours of wasted time, all I got was a pathetic $1 credit while my service was still broken.

Xfinity’s reckless handling of customer accounts is unacceptable. I want my correct number restored, a real explanation of how this happened, and accountability for why I was passed around 8 times with no resolution.

Anything less is negligence.

All I am asking for is a new e-sim that reflects my correct phone number. I am on the 10th agent now and none has been able to fix the issue.

All the agents kept saying "contact us at this number" or "give us a number to callback", how does one do any of these if their phone cannot receive or make call ? What kind of support is it ?

Basically, it looks like Xfinity support ported my own number our and installed a different phone number on my account. I just want my old phone number back, please Xfinity, please do something about it.
