Xfinity Support is Horrible and No easy cancellation option

I have ave cancelled  all services over phone and it was confirmed that I will receive the Cancellation confirmation. But after 1 week, I didn't get any confirmation.
I tried other options to get account cancellation and next steps  to return equipment 
- visit Sunnyvale Xfinity but they wouldn't want to help due to long wait, they just declined saying 30-60 min wait
- Xfinity Assistant : Always asks to talk to agent. chat isn't available 
- Calling Agent :  That's time waste, long waiting almost 45 mins hold.. 
once connected after waiting... Account is still active and not cancelled...... Whereas they Confirmed to send the account deactivation 1 week prioir but never received confirmation ... 
-  No Email support 
- No ticketing system 
I wasted almost 3 hours pay to follow up etc..  ..  without any success..
Why there is no Account Cancellation option to reduce the time and convenience ? Why is it to make cancellation harder ?? Why can't this be simpler ?
Customers are wasting a lot of time with horrible  support..

Xfinity Internet is also very bad compared to other countries.. still on copper whereas fibre is way to go..
I just say test your system before pass it on to your customer.. please have a check how horrible your system and support is... Very ashamed overall .. I hope this feedback helps.
