Xfinity Support : _PENDING_ proposed fiber burial at townhomes that crosses HOA's French Drain multiple times ! [Edited]
... meaning you'll likely damage the HOA's French Drain burying that fiber
(...and since you're being forewarned about this problem then HOA will expect Xfinity 2fix any resulting damage 2their French Drain ).
ALSO, parts of HOA's French Drain already have some needed pending repairs, so during those future repairs
the Xfinity fiber might be damaged due 2being buried too-close --AS-Well-AS-- crossing-over HOA's French Drain
(...and since you're being forewarned about this problem, too, then HOA will expect Xfinity 2fix
any fiber in that area that is damaged as a result of HOA repairs 2their French Drain ).
NOTE : There's a round-green BROADBAND box in the FRONT yard of every townhome in our HOA.
And many townhomes in our HOA have prior cable connections, and _if_ RG6 coax was used 4those prior installs,
then there is likely no need 2route new RG6 into the home from (I assume) Xfinity's fiber->RG6 box mounted on the homes exterior.
....FWIW, I would have attached pics of the problem but no way to do that here....
Regards,
Steve
