Xfinity Stream App is telling me Extra Cost for Roku

We just got Xfinity internet today and the tech was showing me Xfinity Stream on Roku, but it is showing a cost of an additional $32/month.  He said it should be free and included with the internet we purchased.  Help!

@user_v3pxt6 Thank you for reaching out via our Xfinity Forums.  If you're an Xfinity customer without an Xfinity TV package, you can still watch select free content. Simply download the Xfinity Stream app or visit the Xfinity Stream portal and log in with your Xfinity ID and password. However, if you are showing an additional cost to access content then a cable subscription is required.

I never had to pay for Xfinity stream on my Roku but I moved 10 minutes away, didn’t cancel and now they want to charge me.

Hello @user_ewk028, The Stream app is awesome, so thank you for being a user of that platform. It is a free service provided to our customers who subscribed to TV services. Do you still have an active channel lineup?

When I disconnected my cable my Xfinity Steam app via Roku quit but was offered for $43 dollars a month to continue, I can't find that offer anymore and would like to continue with the Xfinity App

Hi there, @user_214xd5 Thank you so much for your time today! There is no charge for Xfinity customers to use Stream. It's included with the Xfinity service..I do apologize, without Xfinity services, you would not be able to purchase the Xfinity Stream.-Richard
