Xfinity Storm Responder Battery Indicator

Hello,

I just set up Xfinity Storm Responder. There seems to be an issue with the battery. The Storm Responder is connected to my internet. The Xfinity wifi App shows Storm Ready Wifi is active and connected. I also have Strong Cellular Service. The battery is saying unable to charge, yet the battery is plugged into the Storm Responder. It’s been like that a few hours. I reset the battery and issue is still lingering.

Please provide a solution to this issue.

I checked it out. No answer as to why the battery backup unit says unable to charge.

I can't find an explanation anywhere online about why "battery backup unable to charge" shows up for my storm ready wifi unit. The signal strength is great. Why won't the battery backup to charge.

@user_hhxf0n Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us here on our Xfinity Forums. I'd be happy to take a look and see why the back-up battery for your Storm Ready Wi-Fi is unable to charge. To get started please send us a DM to Xfinity support with your full name and address.
