Xfinity stole my home phone number and Verizon won't give it back

Hello, I need immediate support. Now. Within a couple of hours. I am *TOTALLY* at the end of my rope. Due to a language barrier and utter incompetence, one of your phone support people took an order to transfer a phone number from T-Mobile to you (Xfinity) but *ALSO* transferred my *HOME PHONE NUMBER* to Verizon because my wife was using the home phone to talk to the fellow. He did not understand or speak English very well and messed it up. We have been without home phone service for *OVER A WEEK* and must be fixed NOW, NOW, NOW. The number you stole from us is ***-***-8007. You-all sent me to Verizon, Verizon sent me to 1-VOIP.com (where the number belongs) and they have sent me back to you. SO, here I am again. GIVE ME THE INFORMATION I NEED TO GET MY NUMBER BACK FROM VERIZON. If you don't know that that entails (I sure don't), then FIND OUT. Verizon says ONLY YOU CAN FIX THIS, so FIX IT.

@XfinityBenjaminM I went there first but got my first response here. I just added name & address. Understand, tho, that you-all have never, ever had any interest in the 8007 number, so it's unlikely that there is any Xfinity account showing management of that number. Some numb nut just took it -- *WITHOUT* permission.

P.S. 1-VOIP.com (the folks who did have authorization to manage the number) didn't put a porting PIN on the number, which is why it was easy to steal. They said they'd fix that.
