Xfinity SPAM/Phishing emails

Every day I receive at least one and usually several phishing messages about “updated my email information” because the old one is “going out of service.”  I would like to understand why Xfinity cannot create a filter that takes those [Edited: Language] messages out long before they reach my mailbox.  If I can create filters that send certain subject lines or senders to a specific folder, why can’t Xfinity set a filter for these!?!?  The subject line is not that difficult—a search for “xfinity including random characters should not be that difficult!  I am [Edited: Language] sick of forwarding all of those messages to Comcast Spam Abuse (abuse@comcast.net).

Thanks for reaching out to us unfortunately certain hackers can get bypass filters to get those phishing emails to come through. You can report those too https://spa.xfinity.com/help/network-abuse?faq=report-online-harassment

now xfinity emails are transitioning over to yahoo https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/yahoo-email-migration-overview So you will get a notification in your primary e-mail of when that transition is about to start.
