Xfinity Service Interruptions happening more often

How can existing customers be refunded the hours the service is down? I pay my bill on time monthly but I would like credit back for the hours I’ve lost Internet access because it’s impacting my ability to perform my job at home.

@user_ef76vg Thanks for posting, and asking about credit for downtime. Credits can be applied to days that have a loss of service over 4 hours. We know it is vital to stay connected to your service or rely on it when working from home, and understand its important to get that time/value back. We do have an easy way to request a credit for a day that has such a loss of service. Check our guide on using the Status page and the link to request credits here https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/check-service-outage. You can see what to expect in requesting an adjustment easily. It will be reviewed, and once approved you can expect to see it confirmed on the following statement. It's a great page to view status info, how to request an adjustment, or also troubleshoot the connection and request a technician if something is not resolved remotely.

@XfinityBenny Thank you for your response! How can I request the total outage for this year? This should be proactively provided to your customers as part of your Customer Retention Program!

@user_ef76vg Thanks for the feedback. Customers have up to 120 days to request a credit or refund for services/purchases. Anything outside of that range is no longer reviewed. We kindly suggest reviewing your billing statement each month to ensure you get the value of service every day successfully. Be sure you have your contact information updated and allow for text alerts. That will notify you anytime we have an official interruption.
