@MHobie

Thanks for reaching out to us I do hope you and your family are doing well during the severe weather that happened in the area.  This link https://texas.comcast.com/alerts/ has great information on how Xfinity is working through restoration.

This link https://www.xfinity.com/support/status is where you can check for updates on when the services are to be restored in their area or via our awesome Xfinity App https://www.xfinity.com/apps

I went to your website and just see a message:

Legacy TV, X1 TV, Internet, Voice, Internet TV outage detected

You may be experiencing issues with your Xfinity services due to severe weather in or around your area. Once the area is safe, our teams will begin to repair the network to restore services as soon as possible. Stay safe and we appreciate your understanding.

The map displays nothing.  Can you give an update on when services will be restored?

Great question! We wouldn't have anything more specific that we would be able to provide to you since this is an area that's been affected by the weather, the ETA is listed as soon as possible. You can set up for text alerts through the website and via the Xfinity app to get notified of when the services will be restored

Affected by weather?  We've had internet here until this morning at around 8:15am CST.  We have had NO Bad weather on this side of Houston.  I think this may be an isolated incident of the neighborhood.  Other people in Lakes of Bella Terra have internet.  Some of us do not.  Might be someone cut a line around us?

I'm glad that you have had internet there until this morning and that your neighborhood has not been affected by the weather @MHobie, some of our customers have had extended periods of downtime due to the damage caused by the weather but I am sorry to hear that it's been down since 8:15 and understand how inconvenient that is. It could be a cute line affecting your neighborhood or the node feeding services to your area could have been damaged or needed work.

I was getting ready to offer to take a closer look when I saw that you posted that the internet just came back up, that's wonderful to hear! Are you able to reconnect to your network and confirm that everything seems to be working normally?

Ours went down (Cinco Ranch area) last evening about 5PM and has not come back up nor has the outage status changed. We are getting the same error:

Legacy TV, X1 TV, Internet, Voice, Internet TV outage detected

And the map shows 0-500 outages in our area. Any additional info on when we might get back up? Thanks! RC

Hello,

Internet went down as of May 28th. Zip code is 77494. Is there any additional info on when we might get back up? The outage map and call center center has been useless.  Before you say bad weather, there has not been any severe weather in this area. Other folks have internet in the area versus other's. Could it be due to a bad line?

We are getting the error below with no actual updates.

Legacy TV, X1 TV, Internet, Voice, Internet TV outage detected

Service has been down in Richmond/Katy since 2am Thursday morning and still yet to restore. What’s happening here?? Keep saying working on it and no ET of when it will be restored. Some of us are working from home here.  This is ridiculous.

user_yq5jvq Good morning! We appreciate you taking the time to reach out to our Community Forums Team. I can see how it would be frustrating not having an ETA. I'd be happy to take a look, and provide any updates we have received from our local team. Can you please send a Direct Message with your name and service address?

Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon at the top of the page (looks like a text bubble)
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
