Xfinity Service has been out for 10 days

Question

We had a huge storm here in Northwest Indiana . I understand it takes some time to get everything back up and running but I’m left in the dark I can’t get ahold of customer service and people in other parts of the town have service .

iiScYth Thank you for reaching out! I do know we are having service interruptions in the Indiana area due to power interruptions, and a possible fiber cut. If you have had power restored, and are still without Xfinity service there could be a power interruption somewhere along the network. I would recommend you check your service status on the Xfinity app, or the Xfinity Status Center. The information provided is the exact same information our support teams have in regard to service interruptions, and the estimated time for restoration.

I'm going on day 14 without Xfinity internet, wifi and cable services here in Munster, Indiana. My neighbor across the street 300 feet away had his Xfinity service restored all by itself four days ago. What is going on with the service techs?,?? I have not seen any Xfinity trucks anywhere.

I’ve seen wires down all over the place!! But my neighbors right in my back yard have their. I was told a couple of days ago it would come back because my modem is appearing to show I have the internet but my smart tv is saying internet disconnected. I wish they would get it done!! I realize this storm was bad so perhaps the workers need outside workers like Nipsco!!!
