Xfinity service advertising is such a scam...
I sign up for the plan on the main page that is advertised as 1GB Download/1GB Upload because those are just the speeds I need. After a month of use I was having a lot of lagging on my devices and speedtests would only top out at 950mbps Download and 120 mbps so I contacted customer service to see what was up. They did all their silly diagnostics and self help for hours that ended up doing nothing. I then straight up asked them, how much upload speed should I be getting and they told me the plan only allows 100mbps. They were just playing along with trying to fix my modem while they knew I was at my peak speed... This company is a scam and I cant switch because of where I live.

I also had the same experience today. Signed up for the 1G Download / 1GB upload plan got the modem and when I tested the speed it showed about 700GB download speed but upload speed was around 50mb. When I called their tech support, they said my plan is 1Gb download and 100mb upload, When I said I signed up for the 1gb upload, they said that plan doesn't exist, even though I am staring at that deal at their website for my address. After 1 hour of back and forth they said they cannot do anything. I just cancelled of frustration and principle. This is a big scam, they are just hoping no-one will check the speed.
