xfinity sending me equipment when my plan is to use my own

Thank you for reaching out. I hope you are doing well, and I welcome you to the family. I see you wanted to use your modem. However, you see a shipment on the way. I can confirm that it's not any equipment. When you use your own modem, we will still send a Welcome Kit with general instructions and an extra cable. This way, you have all you need to get started.
