Xfinity says there is no outage when there is one

I don’t know if the app is just being weird or if it’s just Xfinity itself but when I check on the status of my ongoing outage (three weeks tomorrow), it both says that there is no outage but that the equipment is also offline. My service has been out since Helene hit so I know it hasn’t magically been fixed. This is just very strange…

@user_r8hjq7 allow us to take a look at your services, so we can assist in getting things back to normal. 

Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? To send a direct message:

1. In the top right corner, you'll see a little chat icon near the bell icon. Click the direct message icon

2. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

3. In the 'To' line, type "Xfinity Support" there. A drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list (an "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line)

4. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

5. Press Enter to send it. An official employee, such as myself or whoever is first available, will respond. Thanks!

It looks like I just had to log out and then log back in. Though for some reason, it still seems to think that my equipment is outdated.
