Xfinity rewards debit card not working

I received an Xfinity rewards card in December 2022 for $150. I called the number on the card and activated it. 
I tried to use it at Walmart and several gas stations, but it was declined each time.

I called the number on the card and confirmed that it is activated and has a balance of $150.

What do I need to do to get it to work?

Hey there, is there an expiration date anywhere on the card? Typically they would only be valid for a year. Are you trying to use the card online or in person?

Hi everyone,

I’ve spoken with several xfinity representatives about this issue. Everyone has been very helpful, and the last representative I spoke with suggested using the rewards card as a credit card instead of a debit card and it works! Try that if you’re having trouble using the card as a debit card. Hope this helps!
