Xfinity promotional giftcard expired before activated

When I upgraded my services in March 2022, I was promised to a promotional gift card. I did not receive the gift card until July 2022. I went to use this gift card the other day and realized that it had expired in December 2022. I have never heard of any gift card expiring within six months that seems unreasonable to me. I was incredibly disappointed as I had not even activated the gift card yet or got to use it.

I have called about this issue multiple times, and was told that a case had been created for this issue. However, when I call back to get an update, no one can seem to help me or has any information. I get bounced around from different departments and no department can answer my questions or give me any useful information. I have wasted my time trying to call and get Updates but everyone gives me a roundabout response and excuses which is very frustrating to me. I just want to know if I can get a replacement gift card since I never even got to activate or use this first one.

All gift cards are different, and these gift cards differ from ones you see at a check out, like in a grocery store.  These cards do expire after 6 months and should have the expiration date shown on the card.  It's always good to read the paper work that comes with the card.  😉
