Xfinity plan change

Hi - I changed my Xfinity plan about a month back (downgraded the cable offering) but the changes haven't flowed through on my account yet. This weekend I went to my local Xfinity store, and the nice customer service rep told me that the changes would update within 24-48 hours.  Still nothing yet - when I log into Xfinity it says I have an "order pending"... What's the easiest way to expedite the change?  Thanks!
