Xfinity Overwolf Expired Certificate

According to Kaspersky Internet Security, the "Overwolf" application associated with doh.xfinity.com has an expired certificate, and represents a security threat.  An examination of the certificate shows that it was valid through 10/20/2021, and since that time, this certificate error is flagged dozens of times per day on my computer.

I don't even know why an "Overwolf" application associated with Xfinity appears on my computer.  However, a Google search of "xfinity expired certificate" will reveal Reddit posts by other Xfinity customers over the past couple of months reporting the same thing.

Can someone from Xfinity please fix this problem?  Thank you for any assistance that you can provide.

I also experience same warnings popped up from today.

It was with msedge.exe and GoogleDriveFS.exe, popped up right after computer started and just opened Edge with MSN page (didn't go any web site). No suspicious notification, search engine and home page with my Edge.

Xfinity staff is trying to contact me with PM, but still in PM, he just tries to forward me to Customer Security Assurance (CSA) team.

I don't understand why they want to keep old certificate.....

If we have to do something at our side, I want them to show us how to update certificate inside of our Windows and Kaspersky.

@user_cb87dc I'm sorry to hear that you are having this issue too, but very glad that you have posted here.  Xfinity needs to understand that multiple software programs point to doh.xfinity.com, and that this is where the problem lies.  Just a bit earlier today, @XfinityJessie posted an "Official Solution" stating that an Xfinity update should resolve this issue for all affected users.  Unfortunately, as of thirty minutes ago, Kaspersky is still reporting this URL as having an invalid certificate, associated with Chrome.  So, unless some action needs to be taken by users, it still looks to me as though this is a problem.  @XfinityJessie , please let me know if there is some other action that I need to take.  Thank you.

Thanks for the update, can you try doing a reset to the modem? This will push any new updates available.
