Xfinity On Demand $5.99 Coupon from mail

I received a coupon in the mail recently to "Take $5.99 off your next Xfinity On Demand movie rental or purchase.  Or simply use it as a credit towards your Xfinity bill."

I wanted to use this toward my next xfinity bill. It says that to redeem this offer, I need to visit my.xfinity.com/coupon and "follow the easy on-screen steps to activate the coupon. " When I went to the specified site, I was asked for a 16 digit code to activate the coupon.  However, there is no 16 digit code on the coupon, so I don't know what else to do.

The coupon specifies that there is an expiration date of 1/20/21, so I should still be able to put the $5.99 toward my next bill. Any ideas?

Apologies for the delay in response, I appreciate your patience! There was an issue with some coupons and I have issued a credit for the $5.99 to the account which you will see in 24 to 72 hours in the my account and will also print on your next bill as well. I'm sorry that there was an issue! Thanks for bringing it to our attention! Coupons will also be automatically re-issued to those impacted-- without a 16 digit activation code 🙂

Please let us know if you require any further assistance!

Use your account number, which is 16 digits.

No luck. It's telling me that it isn't a valid coupon code. Are you sure my account number is supposed to be the coupon code? I would have thought that the piece of mail would have mentioned that.

Does anyone have another way to get this coupon applied? I find it hard to believe that they would send out a coupon with incorrect instructions and no way to get this coupon applied. It expires in two days.

Well, it's now past the expiration date, and still not a single response from xfinity. Great customer service. 👍

Just bumping this again. There's no way I'm going to call them and wait on hold for half an hour to an hour or something just to save $6. The fact that they have a Customer Service board on their website with no community manager (or they do have one and they're just not doing anything) is absolutely ridiculous.

I'll just keep bumping this intermittently until this is resolved.

I have the same issue.  How do I redeem my $5.99 coupon from Xfinity?

I'm in the same boat as many others. Your coupon is not redeemable. How do I redeem mine?

No 16 digit code number. Your costomer service is very poor!!!

Ditto. Make it easier to access coupon. Why all the hassle to get a free movie coupon.

I have the exact same problem, the Christmas card with no code. I am not phoning for this. I am eighty years old, you would think a gift would be easy for all customers young and old, computer savvy or not to redeem. Please make this right before next Christmas???
