Xfinity Now Wifi will not activate

I got my xfinity now router in the mail yesterday. I have been trying to activate it on the app and it keeps telling me there is an error and that I need to chat with an agent. I spoke with 3 agents on the online chat and none of them could help me. 2 of them told me they are scheduling me a call back, and no one ever called me. Every time I call the xfinity prepaid number or the regular number I can only talk to a recording that cannot help. A technician was sent to my home and he told me he cannot help because xfinity now is prepaid. My card was already charged 30 dollars and the xfinity now internet is not working. What am I supposed to do? If no one can help I am going to dispute the charge on my card.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

I'm truly sorry for the inconvenience and frustration you've experienced, @joannd12216 . I can certainly understand why you're upset, especially after speaking with multiple agents, being promised callbacks that never came, having a technician visit who couldn't assist, and being charged for a service that isn't working. Since our support through this platform is limited when it comes to NOW Internet accounts, have you been able to reach NOW Internet Customer Service directly regarding the activation issue? I completely understand that you've already spent a great deal of time trying to get help, and I apologize for the experience you've had so far.

No, I have not been able to speak to the now internet customer service directly. The technician gave me the prepaid number to call, but when I call the prepaid number, it is a recording that sends me back to the online chat where no one could help me.

Yes, it tells me to chat with xfinity on the app but all the agents cannot help. I truly do not know what to do from here.
