xfinity now tech apointment

I have xfinity now prepaid service but I don't have a cable outlet installed in my apartment. After SEVERAL tries I was able to book an appointment with an xfinity technician but he was unable to complete the job because the work order he received was for external work only not internal. If am unable to get an xfinity technician can I have a contractor install an outlet or does xfinity have to do it.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Unfortunately, our technicians no longer install coax for service into homes. It will be the homeowner's responsibility to have those coax put into place. However, we do have wireless boxes to watch your cable channels with, or you can always download our Xfinity app to watch your channels on as well.
