Xfinity modem

My modem was destroyed when my house was it by lightning and I received a new one and I need some help setting it up

Oh, no! I'm sorry to hear that your modem was destroyed when your house was hit by lightning, I hope there was no other damage to your property. Have you tried activating your new modem using our awesome XFINITY app? You can activate your equipment by following the instructions listed here https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/activate-xfi-gateway-app. If you run into any errors or issues though, please let us know and we'd be happy to further assist. Rest assured we want to make sure your service gets back up and running as soon as possible.
