Xfinity Modem Equipment Never Delivered

A while ago I received a message from Xfinity that I had a free upgrade available for my modem. I ordered the upgrade, but when the modem arrived nobody was able to answer the door, so the modem was never actually delivered. Is there a way to resend the new modem, because I don’t want to pay for an upgraded modem that I never actually received.

Thank you u/user_e6a021  for reaching out to Xfinity. I understand you have not received your new modem. I apologize for the trouble. You are able to swap the equipment to the closest store near you free of charge as long as you are replacing the new with the old. With out providing the direct location, are you close to an Xfinity store?

@user_e6a021 That would be the fastest way to get your modem swapped out since you would still have to return the old one. Here: https://www.xfinity.com/local/index.html is a link if you would like to schedule an appointment at your local store to minimize the wait time. However, it is not needed if you want to stop by whenever it is convenient for you.
