Xfinity Modem Arrived Earlier than my move in date

I’m not expected to move into my new apartment until November 1st and told an agent over the phone I wouldn’t be there until then, however I just recieved a text saying a driver was approaching with my Xfinity order, how do I ensure I’m not charged until November 7th which is the date it’s saying I will be charged my first payment by? I won’t be able to go there until after 5:00pm as I am at work.
