Xfinity Mobile packaged retaped with water bottle

I placed a Xfinity mobile order 4 days back and I got it delivered through FedEx yesterday. When I was ready open the package in the evening, I realized that someone had already opened the package as it was retaped. To be on safer side I took a photo of the package before opening it. As suspected, when I opened the package, the phone was not there. Instead, the person who took away the phone and replaced with water bottle and retaped. It’s strange that these kind of package issues are happening and I became victim of this. Immediately I took another photo and reported the issue with Xfinity support and submitted delivery issue with FedEx. I am yet to get a resolution on this issue. 

I placed this order with a trade in offer. If I don’t send my old phone within 21 days I don’t get my trade in offer. So I requested Xfinity to ship another phone while they continue to investigate. But I am getting response that they do it only after the investigation which may cross my 21 days timeline to get my trade in offer credit. This needs to be escalated to both Xfinity and FedEx to arrange replacement phone asap.

The direct message was for another old issue which got resolved. I just updated the status of it. It was not related to this new issue.
