Xfinity Mobile - Can't purchase new phone because my internet is through Bulk/Managed Services

I have had Xfinity internet for over 13 years and Xfinity Mobile for around 6 years. Roughly 3 years ago, my apartment complex bundled our internet service as a non-optional extra charge to our rent using Xfinity Bulk or Managed Services. It was cheaper so it wasn't an issue and hasn't been an issue until this week when I tried to buy a new phone through Xfinity Mobile. The online purchase process was quick and easy, or so I thought. Yesterday, I get an email that they put the phone order on hold until I activated my internet. What? I already have internet and an Xfinity account that I can call about any time if I have issues or questions. This left me very confused so I tried to find contact info for Xfinity Mobile so I could call them. I was unable to find a phone number anywhere on the website so I tried the AI chat bot and even the bot wouldn't give me a phone number to call. That's rather inconvenient to say the least. I ended up digging around some online forums that actually gave me a number to Xfinity where I had to sit on hold to speak to someone who eventually gave me a number to call Xfinity Mobile, so I called them to inquire about the odd email I received.

Agent #1- I explain the situation and they said you need to activate your internet. I told them I had internet, they looked it up in their system and verified that I had active internet and said, I need to transfer you to this other department, so they did. Agent #2 answers and asks how they can help and apparently the first agent just blind transferred me and I had to tell the second agent the same thing I told the first agent. Second agent in the internet department looks up the account, verifies what I am telling them and says "I don't know why they transferred you to me, I can't help", and then proceeds to blind transfer me to Agent #3 where the whole process repeats. At this point I am pretty steamed because I have already been transferred 3 times and none of the agents had the forethought to loop the next person in. Agent 3 then proceeds to tell me to go to an Xfinity store, so I asked him what a store would be able to do that he couldn't do? His response was that I would be there in person and that would help. Wait what? I then asked to speak to a supervisor.  Agent #4 (supervisor) answers the phone and asks how he can help. By this time I am FUMING because I have already been transferred to 3 other people and nobody seems to know why I was transferred to them and nobody seems to know how to help me. I let this "supervisor" know how disgruntled I am because at this point I have been on the phone with 4 different people, had to repeat my issue 4 different times and nobody seemed interested in figuring out what the heck is going on!! I ended up hanging up on them because I am so mad at this point I cannot see straight.  I just wasted  an hour and 15 minutes with Xfinity because I got no results as nobody knew what to do, nor took the initiative to find out!

Here I am at this point wondering who the heck I need to call to fix this so I can get a new phone! Someone please help me before I cancel my service and go to another carrier as this hassle is not worth my time!!

user_300a5b, Hi! I can absolutely understand why you're frustrated after spending so much time being transferred between departments, repeating the same information, and not receiving a clear explanation or resolution. First and foremost, I'd like to apologize for the experience you've had. Based on what you've shared, it sounds like there may be an issue with how the system is recognizing your internet service due to the Bulk/Managed Services arrangement through your apartment community. Even though you have active Xfinity Internet and have been a long-time Xfinity Mobile customer, the phone upgrade order may be getting held because the systems are not properly associating your internet eligibility with your mobile account. More importantly, you shouldn't have had to spend over an hour being transferred around without anyone taking ownership of the issue. I sincerely apologize for that experience. We'd like the opportunity to review your account and determine exactly what's causing the order hold. Would you mind sending us a direct message with your first/last name and full address by clicking the "direct message" icon on the upper right page of the forum page? Once you click on that, click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon. In the 'To:" line, input our shared handle "Xfinity Support" to send us a direct message, so we can take a closer look. Our goal is to identify what's preventing the order from processing and find the best path forward so you can purchase your new device without having to continue being bounced between departments. We appreciate your many years as an Xfinity customer and would be glad to help get this investigated.
