Xfinity maintenance downtimes during business hours are hurting my business

There have been a series of Xfinity internet maintenance downtimes in my area over the last 3 years, with less than a day of warning, at peak usage hours between 9 am and 3 pm. As a WFH leader in a large company without a high speed internet alternative, this directly hurts my business, often requiring me to catch up off hours and on weekends.

What I don't understand is why Xfinity does scheduled maintenance during business hours. As a services provider myself, if I shut down between 9 am to 3 pm, I'd be out of business. Because Xfinity is the only high speed alternative in my area, they don't have the same competitive pressures, leaving customers like me feeling like we don't matter.

Is there anything to be done here? The damage is significantly higher than getting a refund for the day.

Is my only recourse to start paying Musk for satellite?

Thank for listening,

- jaz

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
