Xfinity loves to mess with your head

Why did I receive a new modem along with wifi extender?

Can anyone explain this to me?

Xpro customers receive a home Wi-Fi evaluation and, if found to qualify, they can receive a Xfinity Wi-Fi Extender at no additional cost. You can find more information on Xfinity's Xpro at the following link https://www.xfinity.com/learn/internet-service/xpro.nTo tell if you are enrolled in Xfinity Pro you can check your billing statement, the Xfinity app. 
 
To check your Xfinity billing statement:

 

1. Log in to your account on the Xfinity app or Xfinity.com.

2. View your Current Statement (PDF) and go to page 3 to see a detailed breakdown of your package.

3. Look for "Xfinity Pro" or "Pro Wi-Fi Extender" charges, typically listed as a subscription service
