Xfinity local monopoly hurting customers

Xfinity is the ultimate example of blócala monopoly hurting customers. Xfinity charges for services it does not provide: charges me for 1.2G service but provides 6Mb at best. They then refuse to take care of service issues, directing customers to automated robots that basically reset the modem, but don’t care if that solves the issue. Then they make it impossible to get access to any other troubleshooting or person. Their behavior is unprofessional, irresponsible and from my point of view, illegal.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to actual Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

In my personal list, Xfinity is the worst company in the US. Why do people still work there? Aren’t they embarrassed?

Xfinity makes money by taking advantage of its local monopolies to charge customers for services they don’t provide (charge me for 1.2G connection, but actually provide 6Mbps). And they make it impossible to reach customer service so they don’t have to address the issue and provide the service. Customers like myself are stuck with 6Mbps because we don’t have a choice.
