Xfinity is not Disability user friendly ! Reporting to FTC & BBB
I am a person who has low vision due to health issues. I can not drive or have anyone deliver equipment,
I stated from the beginning of the phone call - I am disabled and request accomadation under federal ADA.
Agent sounded like she was in a child care room.
I am moving on Oct 7,2026
I have a 1 hour & 38 min call recorded from an overseas agent, then routed to another agent.
I have been a customer for over 16 years and this is the way the treat disabled customers.
This against fed law !
I asked for an email stating that 1. My service will be stop Oct 7,2026
2.That Xfinity have someone pick- up their equipment
3. A full 1 month credit for my time spent on hold- I am a paying customer of 16 years, not a number in the que.
I also have the full conversations and holds recorded . If they do not arrive by 4pm , I will place
their equipment at my front door for pick up and I am NOT to be charged if the equipment
goes missing.
I am screenshotting this statement - If Xfinity wants to break FTC laws , that's on them.
I asked for email of service cut off date and equipment pick up by 4pm on Oct 7, 2026.
No email has arrived.
I spoke with a real Xfinity agent. She knew my address, how long i was a customer- over 16 years.
Very bad service.
Expect an FTC and BBB complaint with proof Xfinity.

Thanks for taking the time to post here on the community forums, user_mrkxx0! I'm sorry that you've had such a difficult time getting your account disconnected and equipment returned. While we're not able to apply a credit for time spent reaching out, our team can absolutely look into providing a means of returning your equipment and ensuring that your service is cancelled on your requested date! Please send us a direct message with your full name, name on the account (if different), and service address, and we'll get started!
