Xfinity is a scam

This is my third attempt to try and cancel my internet service. I went to the Xfinity store on Memorial Day on May, 2026 at 2174 Henderson Mill Rd Ste 12D, Atlanta, GA 30345 to return my modem and request the cancellation of my internet service. Week later I’m receiving a statement for July, 2026. Again after calling Xfinity customer service five times, I call again in June, 2026  the lady proceeds to tell me that they never cancelled my internet service and they she was going to cancel it. I confirmed with her that my internet services will be cancelled and I will not receive a bill for July, 2026. I asked for a reference number and she gave me a number. Now it’s July, 2026 and I’m receiving a balance on my account for an internet service I have not used all month of June, 2026. I speak to a live agent on chat that tells me that indeed is NOT a reference number but the order number of my transfer when I moved and my internet service is yet to be cancelled. Now it’s July 7th, 2026 and I’m calling customer service again and they are trying to base my bill on internet usage?? What internet usage? You want me to pay a bill for July, 2026 when I have called multiple times to request a cancellation on my internet service. Xfinity is such a money grab. The headache is not worth it! This part is only on trying to cancel my internet service. 

Then I called multiple time to Xfinity customer service because I moved and my old account was still open at my old address. I called they told me it remains open because the old address will follow no matter where I move. Then I was receiving a statement at BOTH addresses. I call again and they tell me they will adjust my bill and i'm not being double charged. I call again because why do I continue receiving a double bill? Then finally my old account gets deleted and only the new address appears on my account?????? Multiple and multiple phone calls.

When I was receiving a bill at my old and also at the new address an agent told me "there's internet usage at the old address." I only had one modem! The agent I spoke to today July, 2026 told me I was actually owed money. We'll see if i receive it and see if they remove the balance on my account for internet service of July 2026 when I cancelled my internet service in May, 2026. But that agent who gave me the Order number instead of a reference number needs to be fired, I have the phone conversation recorded!
