Xfinity is a scam
Xfinity is a scam. They bait and switch packages. My TV package was supposed to have all sports channels. I am being charged an additional $20 per month for Root sports now, so I can watch Mariners away games.
The only other service I have is internet. I pay for 300 mbps service and had that for a month or so. Now I'm capped at 48 Mbps. No changes to equipment or service. They just reduced my speed and keep charging the highest price.
AI service goes nowhere. Live support keeps you on the line repeating all the same lines, but they don't fix anything. I finally asked to please make progress because after 10 minutes we had only established that my issues were valid. I called in to get them fixed, not spend the afternoon listening to someone tell me the problems are true.
Really, really bad Xfinity. You should be ashamed, but scammers don't have shame.
I will be canceling service, reporting to the BBB and disputing charges with AMMX.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

I have had it with how unreliable Xfinity's service is. Specifically, if you rely on the internet for work, Comcast is truly unreliable. I have encountered several issues, and customer service only compounds the problem because they don’t help. At this point, I will have to look for a new provider. I’m pretty sure that if my bills were not paid, they would cut my service in the blink of an eye. But when it’s their own incompetence, I have to wait until a technician comes to my home. Xfinity should not be allowed to be in business. The only thing that is reliable is the rising bill. It’s a total waste of money.

I've have had Xfinity Internet services since 2020, and they have been fair with their prices. I've paid $85 for 14 months and never had a problem until my internet services increased to $85-$144.00. I never got any kind of notice that my plan was about to change.
Back in December, I bought a new phone and got a decent bundle package for both phone and internet. They told me that the $144 about has been adjusted to my new internet plan and I should be receiving a refund of $69. I've talked to at least 15 representatives who kept passing my situation on to other representatives who didn't want to hear or help me in my situation. I've been told they can give me a refund and to wait until the next billing cycle, and was told that I can’t get a refund and the credit will be added to my next bill. One representative told me that my refund credit that was supposed to received this billing cycle will be refunded back to me. Lies, lies, and more lies! Now I am finding out that my mobile phone was $91.66 a couple of days ago, now it's $96. I have to pay an additional $66 for a personal phone number I've had for over 10 years. Stay away from this company. They will milk you until you are dry. I am canceling my internet service this Saturday and in a couple of months, paying off my phone and switching to Verizon. At least it would be much safer.

Oh, they're the worst. I went to add mobile services and somehow that resulted in them changing my whole service agreement so that I am now being charged all manner of additional fees for something I did not ask for or need. I already had internet through them! At this point, they are a well-known, monopoly of a scam . But because there are so few alternative internet providers available in some areas, they thrive.
