Xfinity internet plan confusion

Greetings,

I'm trying to downgrade my current internet package to take advantage of the unlimited data with the new plans.

While selecting the plan for 500 mbps, the plan shows it would have unlimited data, download of 586 mbps, and upload of 117 mbps.


However, on the checkout page, it shows something completely different. It shows "Download speeds up to 500 Mbps; Upload speeds up to 35 mbps"

Which is accurate?

Hello, @user_b5x8ys I understand how frustrating that can be seeing two different descriptions when selecting a plan. Next Generation Xfinity Internet customers with 500 Mbps plan will have there upload speed increased to 100 Mbps. Areas that have not been upgraded will only receive 35 Mbps. I would be more than happy to check your residence to see if it is in an area that has been enhanced. Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? To send a direct message:

1. In the top right corner, you'll see a little chat icon near the bell icon. Click the direct message icon

2. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

3. In the 'To' line, type "Xfinity Support" there. A drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list (an "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line)

4. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

5. Press Enter to send it. An official employee, such as myself or whoever is first available, will respond. Thanks!
