Xfinity internet connection

I recently bought a house and it does not have cable/broadband connection. Xfinity told me that it need a dig ticket and would take 14 business days. The Xfinity outside cable/tv box is inside my property lines.

in the interim, can I get a temporary connection? As I cannot stay outside till that time. Or somehow I can connect my modem to the Xfinity line?

thanks for your help

Concern moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

user_utlv1c Good morning! We appreciate you taking the time to reach out to our Community Forums Team for assistance with your line. Congratulations on the new home, that's exciting! I'd be happy to assist you in getting in the right direction for getting a line connected. To get started, can you please send a Direct Message with your name, and service address?

Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pen and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
