Xfinity Free Universal Tickets

I received the reward for two free universal tickets through the Xfinity giveaway. As many have noted, the instructions were quite confusing about redemption versus expiration.   Therefore, I went on the ETDS website and entered the code into the account that it asked me to make and randomly selected a date for the tickets.  given the absolute confusion between how to redeem versus how to use the tickets and the actual expiration date of October 2026 is there any way to change the tickets that I have for June 2026 or revert them back to Open status. On the ETDS website I do see an option to cancel the tickets, but I don’t want to do that if that would mean getting rid of it altogether.

user_qjgy2y Thanks for reaching out to us about the ticket redemption for the universal tickets. We would need to put in a ticket to our Rewards team to reset the reward if they can to assist with getting the date moved, and you would likely want to do that before cancellation on the ETDS website. Happy to assist.

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" If necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person".

Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it

user_qjgy2y No need to copy it as we get both public and direct messages on our end when you reach out via direct message. You would need to be signed into the Forum page here to be able to send a direct message to us through this platform.

Did you get this fixed?  I am having a similar issue with trying to adjust the dates and Xfinity keeps telling me they cannot help me.  I've been on the phone and chat support for over 2 hours now with escalation team involved.

@user_w2pl6i

I did  - I went into my ETDS account and I select cancel accounts - it gave me a warning that the tickets will be returned to the owner.  I did this and they were returned back into my que to be used by October 25 (for the older draw).

from what I found it appears you just have to set up your ETDS account that you see the link for on the redemption page - then enter the redemption code and add it to your account. when I look back into the selection on the ETDS website to create new order it shows that I have my two tickets ready to go just like my date. Hope this help

OMG you are a lifesaver!!! I was able to get this corrected myself within 30 seconds.....after I was on the phone and chat support for 3 hours and none of the 3 agents could resolve it or let me know this was even an option.  I even spoke to a supervisor who spoke to the escalation team supervisor, everyone said, "Sorry, but there's nothing that can be done to change the dates."  I even read this post and the Xfinity employees response with no luck.  Thank you, thank you, thank you! :-)  Now my 7 yr old will actually get to go to Universal on his Fall break after I thought we were just going to have to cancel.
