Xfinity entered my address wrong (twice)

Went to the Xfinity store to get my gear for my cable and internet, and when they made my account they put in the wrong address, so I couldn’t access my account to set up anything. Phone support was no use of course, so I had to go out of my way to go to the store, where I asked them to verify the address (at this point I hadn’t confirmed they used the wrong address but I suspected it). They said they used the right address even after I showed it to them written down, they ensured that was the address on file and they had no clue what was going on and couldn’t help. I had to get support on Reddit where they confirmed they indeed had used the wrong address when making my account and services. How did I fix this without having to go to the store again?

@jenagree Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us here on our Xfinity Forums. I definitely understand how frustrating this has been, and we need to help you with getting that address update. Just to clarify, are you still engaging with our team on Reddit? To avoid confusion and having too many agents trying to manage an account at one time, we do recommend only having one chat going with our team.

I have a message sent out to the Reddit team, waiting on a response.

@jenagree Since our team also assists on the subreddit, I would recommend continuing to work on Reddit since they already have all the information. We definitely don't want you to have to re-explain, and that case would have all the necessary notes to make sure we are getting the services listed at the correct address. Would you prefer to continue working with our Reddit team?
