Xfinity does not consider customers and or want business.
I have missed 3 days of work because I have been scheduled to have a home security installation, the first time I was confirmed that same day they would come, I waited and no one came then they said it was because a service needed to be canceled to start a new one. No one called and told us anything once we did that they scheduled us for another day. I missed another day of work I was scheduled between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM it was 11 I had been in contact with the chat so I had written proof. I was told to continue to wait for the tech would show up it was 3:00 PM I contacted them again they promised to make me a priority and someone would be there between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM I kept waiting and no one showed up when I see they rescheduled me for that following Tuesday 02/20/2024. Today is Tuesday 20th of February 2024 it is 11:18 AM I check to see my tech arrival time and it says between 8:00 AM - and 10:00 AM I asked to speak to a rep and now they tell me it was rescheduled for tomorrow 02/21/2024 because they "do not have an installation tech available to work today" When they were going to inform me of this? I do not know. So now it is 3 days of work I missed and I guess I have to try my luck tomorrow to see if Xfinity has the decency to come install my home security. They act like Its a free service and that I am being a burden for no reason but I'm paying for a service. If this doesn't get resolved I'm just going to have to switch providers to somewhere they want my business.

It's possible the previously scheduled technician fell ill or had another issue that prevented them from attending work which caused the rescheduling. Our Xfinity Home security installations require specific training for the technicians who perform the installations so rescheduling can be difficult at times if we are working with limited staff as Xfinity Home appointments tend to be scheduled far in advance. Were you able to reschedule the installation to a date that you preferred in the Xfinity App?
