Xfinity "data overage"
So I pay good money for Internet and voice. We cancelled cable in favor of streaming which gives us vast choice in programming. But now Xfinity is now coming up with "overage" fees for data. This is obviously a punishment because we dumped their expensive and shoddy cable. It's amazing how now, after I am threatened with an extra $100 per month, I am told "unlimited data" is UNAVAILABLE in my service area. In Cape Coral, Florida? That seems like a complete lie.
After years and years of faithful patronage to Xfinity through all its transitions, I am looking for a lower cost Internet service. I can add unlimited home Internet to my mobile home plan for $50 per month, no danger of scam overage fees.
What is Xfinity really thinking? Streaming is the trend, people are phasing standard cable out. Seems Xfinity should get with the program as well and offer good customers something better at a more affordable and comparable cost.
