Xfinity customer support blatantly scammed me

I was chatting with an Xfinity customer support agent over being sent the wrong phone. They told me that they could offer me a special promotion for my troubles. This special promotion included being upgraded to the 1200 MB per second Internet plan along with the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and the service line, this customer support agent told me that my bill in total would only go up $15. asking him over and over why the bill showed more than that. He assured me that I should trust him and that a credit would be applied later to my account which would result in the promised bill  Total. He promptly transferred the chat and to my disgust, my bill has now gone up nearly $40 per month and to get the 1200 MB per second plan I was told it would be an additional cost. . I can’t believe Xfinity hires such [Edited: "Language"] and continues to operate such shady practices against their customers. Reading the other comments this seems common place for Xfinity and I think I am going to take this to the news…
